As Stephen Colbert exemplified on Tuesday’s The Late Show, no event in American life, not even a holiday, is immune from political infusion. Colbert had no qualms in letting the audience know of his excitement for Wednesday’s Impeachment hearings, considering his fan base shares in the anticipation alongside of him.

All Americans love when millionaire television hosts preach forced wealth redistribution from their ivory towers, right? This is the latest liberal cause late night host Stephen Colbert advocated for on Thursday’s Late Show, during an interview with CBS’s John Dickerson.
