Fox & Friends Among Few Outlets Noting Dems' Poll-Rigging Advice
October 24th, 2016 7:44 PM
Among the WikiLeaks documents recently released is a 2008 email with an attachment running to dozens of pages telling Democrats how to "maximize what we get out of our media polling." Fox & Friends covered this story Monday morning. Very few other online and broadcast outlets have. A popular excuse, which even people who should know better are swallowing, is that this advice is for candidates…
Venezuela Descends Into Dictatorship, With Minimal News Visibility
October 22nd, 2016 11:33 AM
Thursday evening, Venezuela's Bolivarian Socialist government arbitrarily suspended the recall effort against "President" Nicolas Maduro, demonstrating beyond any doubt that the South American country now functions as a dictatorship. Given its gravity, this news, described in coverage at the Wall Street Journal as "a crisis of democracy," is not getting the visibility it should be receiving.

CNN's Cuomo: Only the Press Can Legally 'Possess' WikiLeaks Docs
October 17th, 2016 10:18 PM
CNN's Chris Cuomo, who laughably insisted a month ago that Hillary Clinton "did not do anything illegal" in connection with her use of a private server for State Department emailing and other business, is at it again. To be clear, she did lots of things that are illegal, but a corrupt FBI and Department of Justice decided not to prosecute her.

October 17th, 2016 10:23 AM
Sunday night, Matt Drudge characterized a lengthy Sunday evening Washington Post report by John Wagner, Abby Phillip and Jose A. DelReal set to appear in Monday's paper as an assertion that "CLINTON (HAS) ALREADY WON!"
Three Media Items on NFL Ratings Slide Avoid Kaepernick, Anthem Antics
October 16th, 2016 9:39 PM
As the National Football League's Week 6 went into full swing Sunday, it has become clear that its TV ratings plunge is real, serious, and having a bottom-line impact. At the same time, there's a growing determination in the establishment press to avoid citing the "(Colin) Kaepernick effect" of player protests during the playing of the national anthem as a contributing factor. Recent lengthy…

Behar: Bill Accusers 'Tramps,' But Hillary Knows 'He Did Those Things'
October 14th, 2016 1:35 PM
Much is being made of The View host Joy Behar's outrageous smear earlier this week of three women who have accused Bill Clinton's sexual assault and unwanted sexual advances as "tramps." The blowback is richly deserved, especially because compelling evidence indicates that these women are the victims, not only of Bill Clinton, but of Hillary Clinton's enabling behavior and actions.

Halperin: NYT ‘Putting Their Finger on the Scale Against’ Trump
October 14th, 2016 12:38 AM
Ever since The New York Times published numerous sexual assault accusations against Donald Trump on Wednesday the GOP nominee has been threatening the file a lawsuit against paper. In a response to Trump’s threats, the paper’s legal team put out a declaration basically saying “bring it on.” Mark Halperin, the managing editor for Bloomberg Politics, took exception with the Times’ message on…

Hidden Cam Talk: 'Lot of' NYC Voter Fraud; Liberal NYC Papers Quiet
October 12th, 2016 5:39 AM
The Democrats insist that "voter fraud is very rare" and that "voter impersonation is nearly non-existent." The press has consistently almost completely ignored evidence that voter fraud and voter impersonation are serious and growing problems. One can expect that indifference will continue to be the norm even after the latest video produced by James O'Keefe's Project Veritas. The video shows a…
'Stupid Fact Checks': NBC, USAT Hit Trump's 'Acid Wash' References
October 10th, 2016 10:08 PM
Former late-night TV host David Letterman was famous for his entertaining and fun "Stupid Pet Tricks" segments.
In the current presidential election cycle, the press, while claiming that Donald Trump and his campaign lie so often that the backlog of required genuine fact-checking on important matters is sky-high, is instead engaging in a non-entertaining, not at all fun effort known as "Stupid…
Natl. Press Fails to Spot Alarming Trend After Two More Slain Cops
October 10th, 2016 2:17 PM
Three police officers were shot by a gang member Saturday afternoon in Palm Springs, California. Two of them have died. The third suffered nonlife-threatening injuries and was expected to leave the hospital Sunday. Once again, the deadly motivation seen in Dallas and Baton Rouge just three months ago, the desire "to shoot police," emerged. With the exception of one local newspaper, the press is…

CBS Issues Hollow Denial on Failure to Ask Kerry About Hillary Emails
October 9th, 2016 2:56 PM
As Mike Ciandella at NewsBusters noted Thursday morning, newly obtained documents indicate that the White House and Secretary of State John Kerry's underlings worked aggressively to "crush" any chance that he might be questioned about Hillary Clinton's use of a personal email account for public business or her stationing of a private server registered under a pseudonym at her Chappaqua, New York…
LA Times Reporters Tag Utterly True Statement by Pence 'Misleading'
October 7th, 2016 1:03 PM
Apparently Kurtis Lee and Seema Mehta at the Los Angeles Times have access to a special Newspeak news media version of the dictionary which contains a definition of "misleading" differing from the real dictionary: "deceptive; tending to mislead" ("mislead" as a verb primarily means "to lead or guide wrongly; lead astray"). They're using their Newspeak definition to claim that a completely factual…
Over 1,000 Non-Citizens Registered to Vote in Just 8 VA Localities
October 5th, 2016 4:30 PM
On Sunday, I posted on the saga of Andrew Spieles, a member of the Young Democrats at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia who admitted to submitting fraudulent voter registrations for 19 dead people, and the national press's virtually complete disinterest in covering the story.
Spieles' activities, which have gained the attention of but not yet prosecution by law enforcement,…
AP Omits How Plaintiffs in Tossed Ferguson Lawsuit Lied
October 4th, 2016 4:09 PM
At the Associated Press Monday afternoon, Jim Suhr reported on the dismissal of a "civil rights lawsuit that alleged police used excessive force against protesters in Ferguson (Missouri) after the 2014 police shooting death of Michael Brown." The plaintiffs sought over $40 million from police, police officials, St. Louis County and the city of Ferguson.
Predictably, the plaintiffs will appeal.…
