FX’s Mayans M.C. has been clearly political in its first season, from wall references to outright white supremacists. However, the latest episode tackled a topic even I was surprised about: abortion. What’s even more shocking is what they end up doing with it.

Only two episodes into its return and Sarah Silverman’s I Love You America is already probably the most obnoxious show of 2018. After a lousy hate-fest last week, the Hulu series continues to promote its hatred for all things right-wing. This week is no different, except with more profane jabs at President Trump.

Fans of Chelsea Handler and Michelle Wolf should rejoice. While Netflix had the good sense to cancel those shows, Hulu’s I Love You, America with Sarah Silverman has somehow returned despite a horrible, terrible, no-good, very bad first season. For a show that claims to “love” America, it sure hates a good part of it.

FX’s new show Mayans MC is a spinoff of the biker drama Sons of Anarchy, which finished its seven-season run almost four years ago. That connection seems fitting as the new series covers many of the same issues, such as gruesome violence and a love for gun deaths. However, this time around, they manage to insert a new political edge. These days, what show doesn’t?
