The major network evening newscasts have failed to report a story that has been reported far and wide elsewhere: the multistate lawsuit against Meta, parent company of both Facebook and Instagram, over complaints that the company failed to protect the privacy of minors thus exposing them to harm.

There is no more oddly fascinating Sunday morning ritual than watching members of the Acela Media go on TV to weigh in on the fortunes of their fellow Americans that they know little to nothing about. And, as is often the case during tough times, the truest, purest victims of whatever woe has befallen their fellow Americans are none other than the Democrats in power. 

An interesting exchange at the end of Kristen Welker’s interview with House Intel Chair Mile Turner shows how critical it is to the January 6th narrative that the Capitol security video not be released. But it was, and Welker quickly tried to pivot when Turner responded to accusations of the GOP cherry picking video to release.

You’ll be absolutely not shocked to discover that none of the major three network evening newscasts found the time to report news of a non-prosecution, to wit: the non-prosecution of President Joe Biden or any of his staff in the classified documents case under investigation by Special Counsel Robert Hur.
