The badly disguised Democrats at PBS are having a hard time with this second assassination attempt on Donald Trump. They barely passed over it on Sunday night, and on Monday night, News Hour anchor Amna Nawaz and NPR reporter Tamara Keith savaged Trump-Vance again for demonizing Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio. 

Before the debate, ABC's evening newscast never described Kamala Harris with an ideological label since Biden was forced out. One way that liberal journalists put a protective bubble around their candidate is to pretend she’s somehow above ideology. It's just an attack coming from Donald Trump and J.D. Vance, and therefore it’s just negative advertising, not news.

In every election cycle, it is abundantly easier for Democrats to appear to have “momentum” when the media prattle on about their supposed momentum. It is easier to declare Democrat campaigns are “flawless” when the media steamroll over any flaw that emerges. It is easier to look “really smart” when journalists tell everyone you’re smart.
