The PBS NewsHour Monday night pundits lamented the "so-called establishment" of the GOP being "undermined" by right-wingers, going back to Newt Gingrich in 1994. NPR reporter Tamara Keith said most House Republicans want to "burn it all down" and refuse to compromise.

Insular media elites have a nasty habit of thinking they represent Democracy. They aren’t a half or a third of Democracy. They own it. Like they’ve trademarked it. Anyone who dares to attack them is attacking Democracy. The most obvious example is The Washington Post and their arrogant motto “Democracy Dies in Darkness.”

Taxpayer-funded National Public Radio touted pro-abortion billboards on Interstate 55 on their show Morning Edition. A pro-abortion hairdresser was ecstatic: "Yes! GOD'S PLAN INCLUDES ABORTION! It does! It does. I agree."

NPR morning anchor Steve Inskeep appeared on MSNBC's Alex Wagner Tonight and infuriated leftist Joan Walsh for suggesting the Democrats were acting in their own interests (and not on principle!) in voting to dump Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Another leftist said he won't listen to NPR, or "Nice Polite Republicans," because of Inskeep.

On Thursday night's All Things Considered, NPR aired what someone might call a heart-tugging pro-life story. But NPR wouldn't. They are "pro-choice," meaning that an unborn baby is a loved human being when that's what the mother decides it is. When the woman decides it's like a tumor that must be removed, there is no humanity to be identified. 

The "public" broadcasting elite loathes Fox News. Attorney General Merrick Garland offered a “fiery defense” in a “grueling hearing” of a House Judiciary Committee “stocked with far-right stalwarts,” as The New York Times described it. A special bucket of opprobrium should go to what they call “public broadcasting,” PBS and NPR. On the PBS NewsHour, they could barely manage a two-minute story on the Garland hearing.

On Friday's Morning Edition, NPR lamented the "surge" in book bans across America. Apparently, democracy works best in America when educators get to assign left-wing propaganda about how America is deeply racist, and no one objects. "One parent" caused a "book ban" in North Carolina -- a book by radical leftist Ibram X. Kendi.

Henry Rodgers at The Daily Caller reported Rep. Matt Gaetz (R.-Fla.) wrote a letter to NPR and the CPB demanding answers about why a Baltimore NPR station is airing a Louis Farrakhan radio show on Sunday nights. 

One of the most infuriating and tiresome tactics our hyperpartisan media employ is trying to tie a mass shooting to conservative policy or rhetoric. Speaking out against critical race theory in our schools shouldn’t be thrown on a greasy slope with inspiring violent death.
