NPR's Morning Edition on Wednesday delighted in a supposedly nonpartisan group that they called the "Sedition Hunters," who have helped scoured videos to help identify suspects in the January 6 riot. NPR turned to reporter Odette Yousef, whose alleged beat is "extremism," but it's all about right-wing extremism, because this is NPR. 

As we wrap up 2021, it's time for a little cultural talk on the NewsBusters Podcast. NPR recently suggested the Beatles signified how the rock band was a white-male institution. They also recently brought on Nikole Hannah-Jones to explain that "yacht rock" like Steely Dan, Toto, and the Doobie Brothers is culturally appropriated black music.

Beatles fans of all ages can flock to Disney Plus for a new documentary called “Get Back” that reassembles footage of John, Paul, George, and Ringo creating music as the band begins to dissolve. NPR used the occasion for guilt-trip clickbait: “How did we get stuck with the idea that four white guys make a rock band?”

Some media outlets pretended withdrawn banking-regulator nominee Saule Omarova was somehow smeared as a radical, especially National Public Radio, home of leftist radicals. Morning Edition host Steve Inskeep supportively interviewed Omarova and ignored any and all evidence of her extreme record.

NPR sounded the alarm over its latest poll on Thursday's Morning Edition: Biden's approval rating sunk to 42 percent, a record low as president, and poll results on their massive spending packages "really raises a lot of red flags for the party."

The Psaki Show returned Monday following the Thanksgiving holiday with a packed show on the heels of the omnicron variant of the coronavirus and a host of new travel restrictions, so it fell to Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy to question Press Secretary Jen Psaki on, among other issues, President Biden’s hypocrisy on Covid travel bans and his latest mask faux pas.

NPR felt pressed to delete a tweet on Tuesday that rained on the parade of newly elected Boston Mayor Michelle Wu, since many black voters were upset that their preferred minority didn't win the office. It said in part "While many are hailing it as a turning point, others see it as more of a disappointment that the three Black candidates couldn't even come close." 

Wisconsin Republicans are backing state bills to allow censored social media users to sue platforms for damages, in an attempt to target online censorship.

The most annoying part of Colin Powell remembrances was the media Democrats dragging the Republican Party into it. CNN's Chris Cillizza fake-mourned "The Colin Powell Republican no longer exists in the Republican Party.” NPR pretended Powell was a Republican "for the last decade or so," in the midst of endorsing four Democrats in a row for president.

With Thursday’s White House press briefing continuing to focus on the supply chain crisis amid rapid gains in inflation triggering price increases on basic necessities affecting all Americans, Fox’s Jacqui Heinrich blasted Press Secretary Jen Psaki over Chief of Staff Ron Klain’s “tone deaf” tweets from Wednesday agreeing with a statement that such problems are “high class issues.”

On Monday's Morning Edition, National Public Radio spent seven minutes promoting Rep. Adam Schiff and his new book on the first Trump impeachment, the one on Hunter Biden and Ukraine.
