On Friday’s NewsHour, PBS’s “conservative” pundit David Brooks sound like a Biden re-election flack, touting the President’s “incredibly strong economic recovery,” his “pretty good international peacekeeping efforts,” and who “sends off all the right cultural messages.....Democrats are not grateful enough for what they have.”

Two years ago this week, even liberal journalists were appalled by the disastrous incompetence of the Biden administration regarding the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan. Yet quickly the most shameless partisan journalists identified themselves by deciding to praise, rather than criticize, the disaster that all could see with their own eyes.

A segment on the supposedly “inhumane treatment” of would-be migrants along the Texas-Mexico border under Republican Gov. Greg Abbott’s program “Operation Lone Star,” which aired on the PBS NewsHour Wednesday evening, was a perfect example of the taxpayer-funded network’ coverage of current events.

So just what was then-president Trump thinking when he called Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in early January 2021, and asked him to “find 11,780 votes” in Georgia, which if really there, would have put Trump over Biden in the close Georgia race? NewsHour congressional reporter Lisa Desjardins seemed confident she knew just what Trump was thinking in her Tuesday evening…

Overreact much? The PBS News Weekend show set off klaxon alarms Sunday evening about the pseudo-constitutional concept of "separation of church and state," based on the establishment of an online Catholic charter school in Oklahoma, the first publicly funded religious charter school in the nation. Host John Yang introduced his segment under a graphic that read “Church and State.”

On Tuesday’s PBS NewsHour, White House correspondent Laura Barron-Lopez acted as mouthpiece for the Biden administration to trumpet the so-called success of Bidenomics, tied to the president’s recent campaign trek to Milwaukee marking the anniversary of the so-called Inflation Reduction Act.
