PBS 'Washington Week' Insists Biden Is 'Independent' of DOJ on Trump
The PBS Friday night journalist roundtable show Washington Week sounded like State-Run TV as guest host Laura Barron-Lopez touted the “revealing and damning” Trump indictment by Biden’s Justice Department. It was the only topic for the half-hour. She methodically repeated the White House spin on the Justice Department's independence as her own take.
PBS: 'Sickening' GOP Calls Trump Indictment 'Selective Prosecution'
New York Times columnist and the supposedly conservative half of PBS NewsHour’s weekly Friday Brooks and Capehart panel was dismayed that even “supposedly mature and moderate” Republicans were decrying President Trump’s latest indictment as “selective prosecution.” Washington Post columnist and pinch hitter Ruth Marcus went even further, labelling it “sickening.”
NewsBusters Podcast: PBS, NPR, & VOA Provide a Play Mat for Democrats
"Public" broadcasting is for liberals. PBS and the Voice of America offered softball questions to Biden on his Pride Month activities at the White House. NPR set up House Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries to denounce "extreme MAGA Republicans," and attacked the "far right" on election integrity.

Smokey haze from the Canadian wildfires continued to cover the East Coast of the United States on Friday, and PBS’s Amanpour and Company used the air pollution to portray Republicans as opposed to a healthy environment. Ironically, Amanpour’s guest, Democratic Senator Chris Coons (DE) spent his air time promoting a bipartisan bill for a carbon border tax.
DEFUND PBS: Journo Lobs Biden ‘Question’ on ‘Anti-LGBTQ’ Americans
White House correspondent Laura Barrón-López of the taxpayer-funded PBS served as an unofficial member of President Biden’s staff Thursday as she lobbed a question at Biden during a press conference with U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak spewing falsehoods and hate at “anti-LGBTQ, anti-transgender laws” and how such supporters have “turned violent.”

Capehart Admits: Democrats 'Champing at the Bit' to Run Against Trump
The Democrat and their media bosom buddies never seem to face the bizarre scenario they are pushing for 2024 -- that Donald Trump is a horrible tyrant and threat to democracy who they can't wait to crown as the Republican nominee. PBS Welcomed DeSantis: Beatings, Forced Feedings, and ‘Wave of Deaths’
PBS reporter Lisa Desjardins gave Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis a chilly welcome to the 2024 presidential race on Wednesday, before his Twitter-hosted interview with Twitter owner Elon Musk. Desjardins included positive details about the new candidate, standard practice when introducing new candidates into the presidential race (at least Democratic ones). But she also poisoned the paragraph…

Our research guru Rich Noyes has been digging into months of evening news coverage of the Republicans and Democrats on the debt-limit debate, and on how the two parties are portrayed on taxpayer-funded PBS.
PBS Asks Abrams How She Can Be a Novelist While Saving Democracy

On PBS, WashPost Columnist Cries Musk Ended Era of 'Objective' Twitter
PBS is an echo chamber for arrogant liberals who think they should manage everyone's information. PBS NewsHour hosted a conversation with Washington Post columnist Philip Bump where they could lament that under Elon Musk, "objective" journalists are no longer given the "verification" of the blue check. As if they were objective, especially on Twitter?

PBS Hits L.A. Dodgers for 'Sin' of Disinviting Anti-Catholic 'Nuns'
Tuesday’s edition of the taxpayer-supported PBS NewsHour devoted a full segment to the Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team re-inviting the offensive Catholic-mocking drag troupe “The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” (i.e. a troupe of men who dress as nuns, founded in San Francisco in 1979, their motto "Go forth and sin some more!”) to the team’s 10th annual “Pride Night” in…
