As NewsBusters reported Tuesday, Bill Maher on NBC’s Tonight Show offered Donald Trump $5 million to prove that he wasn’t “the spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan.” Later in the day, MSNBC’s Martin Bashir actually echoed Maher’s contention challenging Trump to come out and disprove it (video follows with transcript and commentary):

A war broke out on the set of HBO’s Real Time Friday when MSNBC’s sole conservative commentator S.E. Cupp had the nerve to say that Barack Obama’s foreign policy was no different than former President George W. Bush’s. In the midst of the shouting, actor Samuel L. The Real Time host didn't let me down Friday actually saying during his prepared opening monologue that Indiana's Richard Mourdock lost his senate bid Tuesday to - wait for it! - "Elizabeth Warren up in Massachusetts" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

For the second time in less than two weeks, Andrew Sullivan's ignorance was revealed on national television. Following George Will and PBS's Gwen Ifill on ABC's This Week last month, MSNBC's sole conservative commentator S.E. Last week Bill Maher warned Mitt Romney supporters, "Black people know who you are and they will come after you." The ignorance and blind sycophancy of Bill Maher knows no bounds. On HBO's Real Time Friday, the man who proudly gave a million dollars to Barack Obama's Super PAC said on national television, "Who cares what somebody in his administration wrote down on a piece of paper and predicted?"
