The effort to canonize former President Jimmy Carter as a secular saint involves a heavy dose of whitewashing, as we’ve seen across the Regime Media spectrum. Spanish language media is no exception, as NBC affiliate network Telemundo demonstrates.

The 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, has shuffled off this mortal coil at the age of 100. Those who remain and are tasked with covering his passing have chosen to do so while putting a rosy glaze over his presidency. In doing so, they neglected history.

Three days before Christmas, the nation is horrified to learn details of the murder by fire of a woman on the New York city subway. The one legacy media newscast that bothered to report this story omitted significant details regarding the suspect’s immigration status.

The nation, reeling from an ongoing border catastrophe and migrant crime crisis, ignored the media’s activist caterwauling and chose enforcement this past election. With the transition to the Second Trump Administration ongoing, it is important to look back at one of the worst instances of media migration activism

The Regime Media have a long, sordid history of looking the other way at stories that fail to advance their narratives or otherwise make Democrats in power look bad. But some stories are so bad that they break through anyway. Case in point: the toddler recently found at the southern border along with a bunch of other unaccompanied minors. 

Telemundo’s most recent coverage of the controversy surrounding bathroom privileges for a transgender freshman Member of Congress confirms that those who depend on the national Spanish-language media are the most disinformed cohort among the electorate. 

The NBC-Telemundo poll showing Vice President Kamala Harris with a historically low level of support among Hispanics has begun to trigger some of the usual reactions at MSNBC, including the tired “adjacent to whiteness” trope.

The major networks were very eager to descend upon Springfield, Ohio and channel outrage over the “dogs and cats” controversy. However, the Regime Media do not share the same enthusiasm for more inconvenient immigration stories, such as those concerning violent Venezuelan transnational gang Tren de Aragua (TdA).

If a violent transnational gang coming over the border and overrunning a Denver suburb doesn’t get covered in the national news media, did it really happen at all? This appears to be the underlying calculus of the Regime Media’s outright refusal to cover a story that is critically adverse to the electoral prospects of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Lest anyone think that Spanish-language TV news is not part and parcel of the Regime Media, consider Telemundo’s recent firefighting for Vice President Kamala Harris’s record on immigration. The network closed their initial report on the X Space hosted by former President Donald Trump and Elon Musk by affirming that Harris was never in charge of the border.

The bond hearing for the killers of Houston preteen Jocelyn Nungaray was the top story on Univision’s network evening newscast and drew a brief on Telemundo. Beyond that: ABC, CBS, and NBC determined that the latest developments in a horrendous crime that has shaken the country were not newsworthy.

The nation is shocked by yet another horrendous murder of a girl at the hands of a pair of illegal aliens who should have never been here in the first place. The grisly murder of Jocelyn Nungaray at the hands of two illegals from Venezuela should have garnered coverage on the main network newscasts. But neither ABC, CBS, nor NBC could be bothered to cover the story.

As the trial of former President Donald Trump winds down, most of the networks appear to be willfully neglecting that other high-profile trial in New York: the second trial of New Jersey Senator Bob Menéndez (D-NJ) on corruption charges.

The White House’s celebration of the Transgender Day of Visibility was an “English Only” event, with no mention whatsoever on any of its Spanish-language social media platforms and feeds. So much for diversity! But rather than covering this shameless pander, the nation’s corporate Spanish-language media enabled it.
