Jay Leno picked the wrong guy to complain about how Barack Obama is being treated by his opponents. After doing so to Newt Gingrich on NBC’s Tonight Show Wednesday, the host got a lesson in how conservatives are attacked by the media (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Jay Leno clearly isn’t pleased with the government shutdown. On Wednesday’s Tonight Show, the host spent most of his opening monologue railing against the President and Congress concluding with him holding a sign up that read “F U Politicians” (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):

If NBC’s Tonight Show audience is any indication. Americans aren’t buying into the media’s hysteria concerning the government shutdown. Quite the contrary, when host Jay Leno asked, “How many are worried about the government shutdown,” not one person in the studio audience applauded (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Ron Paul has some good advice for his son Rand concerning running for president in 2016. Appearing on NBC’s Tonight Show Thursday, Paul said, “Be very cautious – you could get elected.”

Jay Leno took another comedic shot at the White House Thursday. Early in his Tonight Show monologue on NBC, the host said, “President Obama now making his case for raising the debt limit. He said raising the debt limit does not increase debt – you know, like raising the speed limit does not increase speed” (video follows with commentary):

Jay Leno took another comedic shot at the President Tuesday. Early in his monologue on NBC’s Tonight Show, the host said that AMC’s hit series Breaking Bad concludes Sunday when “Walter White dies in the hospital waiting room while filling out all the paperwork for ObamaCare.”

The NBC Tonight Show began Friday with a humorous segment featuring host Jay Leno trying to smother a sleeping Jimmy Fallon with a pillow. The bit begins with Fallon sleeping on a couch in the Green Room.

Jay Leno took some more comedic punches at President Obama Thursday. The NBC Tonight Show host began his monologue saying, “Plans are being discussed for a new reality show based on the White House. It's called Lame Duck Dynasty. You don't want to miss that.”

Jay Leno was at his comedic best Tuesday evening. The NBC Tonight Show host spent much of his opening monologue lampooning President Obama beginning with, “It's still a little warm, but you can tell fall is coming...The leaves are changing faster than the White House position on Syria” (video and transcript follow):

NBC Tonight Show host Jay Leno took another comedic shot at NBC Tuesday. Paying tribute to long distance swimmer Diana Nyad during his opening monologue, Leno said, “On her fifth try, she completed 110-mile swim from Cuba to Florida. Senator John McCain had harsh words for Great Britain Friday following that country’s decision to not participate in a coordinated attack on Syria. Appearing on NBC’s Tonight Show, McCain said, “I feel badly about the British. They're our dear friends, but they're no longer a world power. It's just a fact of life.”
