Jezebel writer Kylie Cheung, harshly criticized Bernie Sanders for an op-ed headlined, “Democrats shouldn’t focus only on abortion in the midterms. That’s a mistake.” 

Cheung disagreed with Sanders that Democrats are even doing that, but also claimed, “Abortion is inseparable from nearly every other ostensibly more masculine and 'important' political issue you could name." 

NBC Late Night host Seth Meyers welcomed Sen. Bernie Sanders on to his Monday-taped show to discuss the midterms, how his socialist policies make him an economic genius, and how much Meyers appreciates him. Naturally, there was also plenty of trashing of Republicans and warnings of aspiring authoritarians.

It's not easy to get to the left of Bernie Sanders, but CNN managed on Wednesday morning to pull off that dubious feat. On New Day, co-host Brianna Keilar interviewed Dem Rep. Ro Khanna, who was a co-chair of Sanders's 2020 presidential campaign. The topic was the apparent paring down of the Democrat $3.5 trillion spending bill. MRC analysts looked at 30 stories on the ABC, CBS and NBC evening programs covering the most recent budget debates from September 23 to October 10 and discovered a whopping disparity in the soundbite count with Democrats overwhelming Republicans by a 115 to 16 count.
