Of course the corporate media were going to melt down over President-elect Trump’s cabinet picks. But the sheer intensity of their panic over the past week has been enough to surprise even their most cynical critics.

Jason Cohen at the Daily Caller reported that CNN weekend host Michael Smerconish appeared on the Mediaite podcast to discuss "How Trump Beat the Media and Won Re-election." Host Aiden McLaughlin presented Smerconish as a "champion of moderation," which would certainly make you stand out at screamy CNN. He said all the media bias had a "boomerang effect."

In anticipation of President-elect Donald Trump ratcheting up the deportations of illegal aliens, MSNBC contributor Maria Hinojosa has been making appearances on the liberal news network urging President Biden to thwart Trump from keeping his campaign promise by pardoning illegals before the Democrat leaves office.

When last week Mika Brzezinski said that she and Joe Scarborough would like to have a face-to-face meeting with Trump, I wrote: "As for scoring an interview with Trump himself any time soon, don't bet the rent money at Polymarkets on it, Mika!" Oy, was I wrong! On today's Morning Joe, Mika announced that this past Friday, she and Joe did indeed meet with Trump at Mar-a-Lago. 

It’s been many years since the MRC began calling out CBS’s “King of Comedy,” producer Chuck Lorre for his political rants via his sitcoms as well as his vanity cards that display at the end of his shows. And for a while, we’ve enjoyed a nice reprieve after Lorre waved a white flag and began leaving politics out of his attempts to entertain us. (Minus one blip in 2022.)

As the Regime Media focus their attention on the Trump cabinet picks, it becomes essential to establish new narratives. The anchors and reporters will often do this themselves, but sometimes they will look the other way as politicians do so.
