The absurdity of a government agency to combat what is labeled as "disinformation" is so  blatant that even Politico mocked that idea.

George Orwell’s “Ministry of Truth” has arrived and the Left’s demand for outright fascism steps up. America’s “Ministry of Truth” was announced this week by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. The official title of this Orwellian confection is the “Disinformation Governance Board” and its executive director is one Nina Jankowicz. 

Biden’s Department of Homeland Security is creating a “Disinformation Governance Board” and the liberal media doesn’t find it interesting...because it’s not directed at them. The new board’s boss is a theatrical partisan who said Hunter Biden’s laptop was a “Trump campaign product.”

On Thursday and Friday’s editions of The Psaki Show, Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich repeatedly took the outgoing White House press secretary to task over the appointment of Nina Jankowicz, a far-left Resistance fiend to run what many have deemed a real-life Ministry of Truth out of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Fox News host Tucker Carlson torched Disinformation Governance Board leader Nina Jankowicz for leading the United States into an Orwellian nightmare. 

The Biden administration formalized its war against so-called disinformation. Politico outlined the new Disinformation Governance Board’s (DGB) purpose to “coordinate countering misinformation related to homeland security, focused specifically on irregular migration and Russia.” The outlet also noted that Nina Jankowicz who advised the Ukrainian government and served as a disinformation fellow…

Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) tells Department of Homeland Security Sec. Alejandro Mayorkas in a letter published Thursday.

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) says Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ new “Misinformation and Disinformation Governance Board” will “twist language to fit their own needs” – just as Democrat politicians are doing to advance their agenda – and that the DHS shouldn’t be getting into the censorship business.

There’s a movement among the elite to “police” free speech online. And CNN is at the forefront. The Aspen Institute is hosting a Cyber Summit in New York City on October 2. One of the topics slated for discussion involves “Policing Tech.” In fact, there will be two whole sessions that promise to focus on “policing” tech, which will both be moderated by CNN anchors.
