CNN on Friday belatedly made the right decision to cut ties with host Reza Aslan in the wake of his profanity-laced tirade against Donald Trump. According to a statement, “CNN has decided to not move forward with production” with his show Believer. Media Research Center President Brent Bozell issued the following statement about the MRC’s effort to hold Aslan accountable: 

Variety’s Brian Steinberg reported on Friday afternoon that CNN has cut ties with far-left Believer host Reza Aslan following a nasty June 3 tweet using an expletive to attack President Trump following the London terror attacks. Promising more to come, Steinberg provided a CNN statement announcing the decision.

Some of CNN host Reza Aslan’s other disgusting and hateful tweets are mysteriously disappearing. The cable network star drew controversy when he called Donald Trump a “piece of shit” last weekend. He lamely “apologized” and declared, “That’s not like me.” Except, of course, it is.

Media Research Center President Brent Bozell on Tuesday condemned the weak and “dishonest” apology from CNN’s Reza Aslan. Outrage has grown in the wake of the host calling Donald Trump a “piece of shit” on Twitter. Bozell issued the following statement, as well as an open letter to the president of CNN:
