Horrified at the use of expletives from White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci, This Morning co-host Gayle King on Friday fretted to veteran journalist Bob Schieffer: “When you hear something like that, Bob, are you offended?... Are you disappointed? Are you saddened by it?” 

On Thursday, The Hill reporter Joe Concha put the media on notice. Speaking about the news that a staffer for Florida Congresswoman and former Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz had been arrested trying to flee the country, he blasted the liberal media for ignoring the scandal.

ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Today continued on Wednesday morning the liberal media’s attempts to help Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (Fl.) cover up the scandal involving now-fired I.T. staffer Imran Awan after his arrested Monday when he tried to flee the country.

The Democratic Minority Leader on Monday appeared on CBS This Morning and endured repeated questions about whether she is up to the job of facing down Donald Trump and the Republicans. After playing a montage of anti-Pelosi Democrats, Charlie Rose reminded, “You've been losing special elections, four of them." 

On Friday, while both NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America provided full reports on left-wing actor Johnny Depp joking about assassinating President Trump, CBS This Morning could only manage 45 seconds of air time out of its two-hour broadcast to mention the latest outrageous celebrity outburst. 

The journalists at CBS This Morning on Tuesday examined the lack of civility in America and, somehow, managed to avoid discussing the attempted slaughter of Republican members of Congress by a rage-filled Bernie Sanders supporter. Trying to murder your political opponents would seem to be a rather uncivil action.

On Monday, the network morning shows breathlessly hailed the latest partisan Democratic effort to attack President Trump, resurrecting a lawsuit accusing Trump of violating a clause in the Constitution because of his business interests. Such charges were hyped by the same media that excused the Clinton Foundation scandal that swirled around Hillary Clinton.

Democratic Senator Joe Manchin appeared on Monday’s CBS This Morning and offered some skepticism and tough questions for ex-FBI Director James Comey. Yet, the show’s hosts desperately pushed for signs that Donald Trump has done something deeply wrong. 

While NBC’s Today and ABC’s Good Morning America on Wednesday devoted full reports to comedian Kathy Griffin’s widely-condemned mock beheading of an effigy of President Trump, CBS This Morning could only afford a 36-second news brief on the topic. While these sorts of interviews are unsurprising, they’re still worth documenting. Tuesday’s CBS This Morning featured a gooey interview with Democratic Senator Al Franken (Minn.) to promote his new book, encourage him to run for president, and swoon over “how hard you work” while still being “a complete delight.”
