Twitter will desperately defend its stance on transgender rights, even if it means snuffing out the voices of the opposition. Dr. Ray Blanchard, who helped write the official psychological position on transgender identity, was temporarily blocked on May 12 for voicing his professional beliefs. 

A conservative news host’s account tracking violence against Trump supporters was deplatformed. One America News Network host Jack Posobiec’s Twitter account “@MAGAphobia” was taken down from Twitter May 6. FNC host Greg Gutfeld made the right move on the rhetorical pool table during Wednesday’s The Five, knocking Brian Stelter as “CNN’s cue ball of concern” after his hissy fit about President Trump skipping Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD), which Gutfeld dubbed an “orgy” of “sweat lemmings complimenting their shared opinions.”

While YouTube may publicly deny demoting videos based on their "specific political perspectives,” both right and left wing commentators have noticed a huge drop in recommendations. In February there has been a massive drop in YouTube recommending content for a select group of creators — from 7.8% recommendation rate to a miniscule 0.4%. That’s a whopping 94.87% drop.
