In an attempt by network journalists to console themselves and their liberal viewers over Special Counsel Robert Mueller clearing President Trump of Russian collusion, on Monday, the NBC, ABC, and CBS morning shows eagerly listed “scores” of other investigations Democrats were pursuing against the President, promising that Trump’s “legal problems continue.”

On Friday, ABC’s World News Tonight and NBC Nightly News made sure to include amidst their extensive coverage on the completion of the Mueller Report that, despite the lack of any future indictments from the Special Counsel, House Democrats still have an increasing number of ongoing investigations into every aspect of President Trump’s life that could prove perilous for the White House.

On Thursday, the liberal media finally found one of the few things they could cheer on Republicans for. Of course, it involved the 12 Senate Republicans who voted to pass a resolution rebuking President Trump’s national emergency declaration for the crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border. Or, as ABC News and NBC News described it, the “Republican rebellion”.

After former Vice President Joe Biden all but confirmed he was planning to announce a 2020 run for president during a pair of public engagements on Tuesday, the liberal media were eager to hype the news. Monday, the networks were eager to bash President Trump for holding firm to his campaign promise of a border wall, as he includes it again in a budget proposal before Congress this morning. ABC’s reporters at Good Morning America were the most effusive in their disgust for Trump, admitting that they were hoping that Republicans would “stand up” and “embarrass” the president with a “rebuke” over…

The journalists at Good Morning America on Wednesday downplayed the latest anti-Jewish outburst by Democratic Congresswoman Ilhan Omar as simply a “family feud” over Israel. And while GMA reported that something happened with Omar and thus admitting that she said *something,* the network didn't define the remarks targeting Jewish supporters of Israel. 

The liberal media were elated Monday after the Democratic-led House Judiciary Committee sent letters to over 80 people and entities related to President Trump requesting documents they hoped they could impeach him with. And during their evening newscasts, ABC, CBS, and NBC hyped those Democratic efforts to probe every aspect of Trump’s life.

Despite Michael Cohen’s shady history and federal conviction for lying to Congress, the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) hung on his every word following Wednesday’s hearing before the Democratic-led House Oversight Committee. While glowing about his “dramatic public reversal” and “deeply personal takedown of a sitting president” (as NBC reporter Kate Snow did) they all chided…

Apparently, one congressional effort that can’t succeed is worthy of attention on ABC and CBS, but the other is not. The difference? The two networks yawned at a pro-life effort to protect infants who survive abortions. But Good Morning America and CBS This Morning hyped the mostly Democratic move to terminate Donald Trump’s national declaration of emergency on the southern border. 

While all three broadcast network shows on Tuesday hyped Donald Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen preparing to testify before Congress throughout the week against the President, amazingly, ABC’s Good Morning America completely skipped any mention of the convicted felon’s massive credibility problems and that he previously lied to Congress.  

The 77-year-old democratic socialist from Vermont, Senator Bernie Sanders, threw his hat into the 2020 presidential race on Tuesday. And while they weren’t necessarily “feeling the Bern”, ABC’s World News Tonight and CBS Evening News touted his entrance and wondered how far left his policies have pulled the Democratic Party.

After ignoring Tuesday’s news that the Senate Intelligence Committee had found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, ABC was eager to report on the story Wednesday morning after the top Democrat backtracked on his own committee’s findings. NBC and CBS still found no time to report on the Senate finding no evidence of collusion on their morning programs.

Shortly before ABC downplayed the anti-Semitic comments of Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (D) on Monday, World News Tonight touted Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar (D) for throwing her hat into the 2020 presidential campaign. But while liberals of ABC were busy touting Klobuchar (and other Democrats), they largely ignored what Politico called the “staff horror stories” plaguing her campaign…

Thursday marked the first day of what President Trump suggested was “presidential harassment” by House Democrats via numerous investigations into seemingly all aspects of his life. The liberal media cheered on the investigations with both ABC and CBS evening news programs boasting about how the Democrats were “kicking” things into a “higher gear”.
