Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) drew outrage on Thursday after she ominously warned U.S. Olympic athletes not to dare protest China or else something could happen to their families. But on ABC’s The View on Friday, co-host Joy Behar and special co-host Star Jones defended Pelosi’s warning by suggesting she was just being “maternal” because “she cares about the kids.”

On Morning Joe, MSNBC contributor Elise Jordan says it is "shameful, shameful" of Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi telling US Olympians not to protest at the Olympics in China. Richard Haass and Al Sharpton are more tempered in their remarks, saying they "respectfully disagree" with Pelosi's position. Mika Brzezinski makes no comment other than a "wow."

Media Research Center President Brent Bozell on Wednesday wrote letters calling on NBC News and NBC Sports to unflinchingly “devote significant on-air reporting to telling the truth” about Communist China’s genocide against Uyghur Muslims, as well as the country’s “egregious response” to COVID-19 and other outrages. 

NBCUniversal is reportedly partnering with Chinese state-linked social media app TikTok for an advertising campaign designed to promote NBC’s coverage of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Subway franchises are demanding the home office call a red card on soccer radical Megan Rapinoe.
