AMC's Preacher has been quite open on its anti-religious and ultra-violent style even in its second season, but tonight we’re looking at a slight change of pace. No, there is still plenty of blood and religious blasphemy to go around, but the latest episode comes with a new cheap shot against former Vice President Dick Cheney.
In the July 24th episode “Sokosha,” Jesse (Dominic Cooper), Tulip (Ruth Negga), and Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) continue their search for God while being hunted by a mysterious and bloody cowboy known only as the Saint of Killers (Graham McTavish). To try and stop him, the three research the figure by looking through past documents on his legend. One particular source includes a book literally titled American Psychopaths which features a more familiar name.
