Anti-Trump fervor is currently at fever pitch on the nation’s top Spanish-language television network.
The hysteria is such that one of the network’s top Democrat analysts, former California State Assembly Speaker Fabián Núñez, a native-born U.S. citizen, told Univision’s Jorge Ramos that he may leave the United States if Trump is elected.
FABIAN NUÑEZ, DEMOCRAT ANALYST: Listen, Jorge, I am not an alarmist, but if Donald Trump wins the presidency of the United States, I, as an American of Mexican descent, I don’t know if I can stay in the United States… because this man is going to deport us all!
Though Núñez prefaced his statement by saying he’s “not an alarmist,” his remarks could hardly have been more alarming when he said of Trump “this man is going to deport us all.”
Trump is known for taking a hard line on federal immigration law enforcement, but the Republican presidential frontrunner has not called for the deportation of anyone who is in the United States legally.
The former California Assembly Speaker was born in San Diego, California to undocumented parents, and should know that he and every other citizen, much less legal immigrant, is not subject to deportation.

JORGE RAMOS, ANCHOR, AL PUNTO: [Addressing Lincoln Díaz-Balart, Republican analyst] For… for whom would you vote, Lincoln?
