Appearing for his regular "Miller Time" segment on FNC's The O'Reilly Factor on Tuesday, comedian Dennis Miller denounced former Vice President Al Gore as a "detestable cat" and "a phony," as he recommended that "everybody should shun Al Gore" after he sold Current TV to Al-Jazeera.
After host Bill O'Reilly joked that Gore was a "personal friend' of Miller's, the comedian made a point of denying any friendship with the former Vice President as he began his response:
First off, I know you're joking, but can you believe that I think Gore is such a detestable cat that I have to go on record on TV and say I'm not a friend; I don't run into him; if I saw him, I would run away from him. He might be rich, but as far as his karma, his account is bereft. He's gone into deficit here.
After recounting the hypocrisy of Gore promoting global warming theory and then selling Current TV to an oil-connected company, Miller concluded:
I mean, the simple fact is, if you lay that out, everybody should shun Al Gore. They should just walk away from him and say he's a phony, but they don't, and that will just show you how people just aren't accountable.

BILL O'REILLY: All right, Al Gore, your pal, close and personal friend up in Idaho, I think you hang with him sometimes. It is now reported that he is almost as wealthy as Mitt Romney, Miller, and then you're right behind that. What do you think about the "Al-Meister"?
DENNIS MILLER: First off, I know you're joking, but can you believe that I think Gore is such a detestable cat that I have to go on record on TV and say I'm not a friend; I don't run into him; if I saw him, I would run away from him. He might be rich, but as far as his karma, his account is bereft. He's gone into deficit here.
The simple fact is, this is the equation I was talking about earlier with "nobody's accountable anymore." Al Gore jammed global warming down everybody's throat. He then tried to take a mail stop at climate change because that wasn't working anymore. He then got Current TV up and running and made a mint off it when he sold it to Al-Jazeera. Al-Jazeera is owned by big oil in the name of Qatar. And, you know, I don't even know what their citizenry is called, the "Qatarzans," to quote the great Ray Stevens. I mean, the simple fact is, if you lay that out, everybody should shun Al Gore.
O'REILLY: Yeah, I mean-
MILLER: They should just walk away from him and say he's a phony, but they don't, and that will just show you how people just aren't accountable.
O'REILLY: Well, they hammered him on, when he went on, Lauer hammered him on the Today show, and a few other of the broadcast guys.
MILLER: Oh, really, so you think Al Gore has done the walk of fire for selling Current TV to oil concerns.
O'REILLY: No, he took a little heat, and that's it. Right. No, there's no doubt it's very hypocritical.
MILLER: Yeah, when you get grilled by a player like Matt Lauer, God forbid, you have faced it all.
O'REILLY: At least he did it. At least he did it.
MILLER: Yeah, well, was he as tough on her as he was on Ann Curry?
