The co-hosts proceeded to play two inflammatory clips of Rosie O’Donnell, previously documented by NewsBusters. First, was Rosie O’Donnell comparing radical Islam with "radical Christianity" and then her September 11 conspiracy rant that for "the first time in history, that steel was melted by fire."
Steve Doocy noted that even the liberal "New York Times" "talks about how MSNBC has made...a business decision to move to the left."

GRETCHEN CARLSON: Alright, what is recommended over at MSNBC, possibly a new Rosie show? Could it be true? Published reports this morning are saying that Rosie, that deal is very close with MSNBC, she'll go against "Larry King" on CNN and of course "Hannity and Colmes" here on the Fox News Channel.
STEVE DOOCY: Mhmm
BRIAN KILMEADE: On news channel? That's unbelievable that she'll be going to a news channel. She said this at a book signing in Miami. And today, basically confirmed by MSNBC. They're pretty advanced in talks. What does this mean for their late night lineup?
DOOCY: Well, and if, and if you're working at MSNBC, what does that mean? They're hiring a comedian to do a show on a cable news outfit? And, think about it, if she does the nine o'clock show, she would effectively be the face of NBC, the female face of NBC. Now, there's an item in today's "New York Times" that talks about how MSNBC has made a conscious decision, a business decision to lean to the left. They've decided, you know whenever that guy at eight o'clock complains about the White House they do very well. Well, now they decided, let's just go for it! Unfortunately for Tucker Carlson, it sounds like his show is in big trouble, about to be cancelled.
KILMEADE: Check out all of the great people that have come from MSNBC, at least at the Broadcasting Hall of Fame. You got Tom Brokaw there, you have Tim Russert there, you have Brian Williams there, and now Rosie O'Donnell's going to be joining there. Could they be that happy that this is going to be happening to MSNBC, that the news that they just moved into Manhattan?
CARLSON: Remember last year, though, when she quit "The View," or not last year, but last spring when she quit "The View," there were a bunch of rumors immediately that other networks were trying to pick her up, specifically for a game show. Wasn't that the first rumor that she was going to host a game show potentially? And-
DOOCY: "The Price is Right" because she loved that show.
CARLSON: Yeah because she loved that show. Here she is-
DOOCY: This will go, this will go over great, said Larry King.
CARLSON: Yeah that's for her back pain, I think.
KILMEADE: Hey Gretchen, do you want to hear some of her great moments from "The View"?
CARLSON: Sure.
KILMEADE: Let's listen.
ROSIE O’DONNELL: Just one second, radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam. [applause] In a country like America where we have a separation of church and state. We're a democracy.
ELISABETH HASSLEBECK: We're not bombing ourselves here in the country. We are being attacked.
O’DONNELL: Wait, but we are bombing innocent people in other countries, true or false?
O’DONNELL: I do believe that it defies physics for the World Trade Center Tower Seven, Building Seven, which collapsed in on itself, it is impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved, World Trade Center Seven. World Trade Center One and Two got hit by planes, Seven, miraculously, the first time in history, steel was melted by fire.
DOOCY: There you go, a preview of coming attractions. If this deal does go through.
CARLSON: And I will say right now that it probably won't last because Rosie doesn't stick too long with any particular show.
KILMEADE: I don't know if Donald Trump will allow.
CARLSON: Is he still doing "The Apprentice."
KILMEADE: Donald Trump, yeah, is the celebrity "Apprentice." Why would he allow that?
CARLSON: Well, he asked her to be on the show, didn't he, in the latest installment?
DOOCY: I believe so. I believe that's right.
KILMEADE: He really asked her?
CARLSON: Yes.
DOOCY: I believe that's what it says in one of today's newspapers.
CARLSON: I think he extended the olive branch, but she declined.
