Scummy Hostin Claims Nikki Haley Doesn’t Actually Miss Her Military Husband

There was no low The View’s staunchly racist and anti-Semitic co-host, Sunny Hostin (the descendant of slave owners) would go to in order to attack her political opponents. During Wednesday’s show, scummy Hostin admitted she had “a dark heart” and insisted that Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley didn’t actually miss her military husband who was deployed in Africa. She called Haley’s emotions “inauthentic” and suggested she only cared about getting a bump in her approval rating.

Amid their discussion about Haley getting emotional during a speech while speaking about her husband, Hostin suggested it was all “inauthentic.” “The operative word is ‘authentic,’ for me,” she chided. “And I think Nikki Haley has been inauthentic from day one…This is a woman what I don't find authentic at all.”

Fellow cast members Sara Haines, Joy Behar, and Alyssa Farah Griffin were taken aback that Hostin would accuse Haley of not actually missing her husband. Hostin went further and suggested that Haley didn’t feel what other military families felt:

HAINES: I was just referring to this moment by the way.

HOSTIN: I'm referring to this moment too.

HAINES: You don’t think that was a real emotion?

BEHAR [Looking confused]: You don't think it was real?

FARAH GRIFFIN: Her husband is serving in counterterrorism in Africa.

HOSTIN: I think that there's something that military families do go through. I come from a military family as many of us do, and I don't trust her authenticity. And --

HAINES: But you trust that is your husband was gone and my kids were missing – She was saying ‘I wish my kids could see him tonight.’ You know how that feels.

HOSTIN: No, I didn't feel that it was authentic and I didn't trust it.

Coming to Haley’s defense, Behar argued that “it was a real moment because I think what you think that she misses her husband.” “I guess I have a dark heart,” Hostin admitted.

Hostin wouldn’t let up. Further in the segment, she declared that the only reason she wanted people to think she cared about her husband was for a political bump. “And the other thing is, her approval ratings went up when her husband was attacked and she stood up for him. And so I read into that moment: if I now throw in a little tear, my approval ratings will go up again,” she proclaimed.

“And I'm a curmudgeon, okay. I admit it. But that's how I read that moment,” she added.

In a rare move, faux-conservative Alyssa Farah Griffin grew a vertebra and pushed back against Hostin. “Those of us who have been to war zones, when you think of someone you love being there, you don't need to fake it. Like, that is genuine fear, missing them,” she said.

Scummy Hostin has a long history of spitting hate at Haley. In 2022, she falsely accused Haley of adopting the name “Nikki” so she could “pass” as a white person. Meanwhile, “Sunny” was a fake name. Hostin’s real name was “Asunción Cummings Hostin.”

SUNNY HOSTIN: The operative word is ‘authentic,’ for me. And I think Nikki Haley has been inauthentic from day one. She has flip-flopped. She rose her hand and said that she would vote for Trump, which I thought was disqualifying then. She has refused to not say that she would not -- to say that she would not endorse him. She had the slavery gaffes over and over again. This is a woman what I don't find authentic at all.

SARA HAINES: I was just referring to this moment by the way.

BEHAR: So, for me, -- First of all, I thought it was a real moment because I think what you think that she misses her husband.

HOSTIN: I guess I have a dark heart.

BEHAR: Yeah, you do, on this topic – on this particular topic you do but not normally.

HOSTIN: And the other thing is, her approval ratings went up when her husband was attacked and she stood up for him. And so I read into that moment: if I now throw in a little tear, my approval ratings will go up again.

[Farah Griffin shakes her head]

And I'm a curmudgeon, okay. I admit it. But that's how I read that moment.

FARAH GRIFFIN: I'm just saying; those of us who have been to war zones, when you think of someone you love being there, you don't need to fake it. Like, that is genuine fear, missing them.

BEHAR: Well, first of all, if she was acting, she could get an Emmy for that.

HOSTIN: She should.

FARAH GRIFFIN: That’s some Whoopi Goldberg acting there.

[Whoopi Goldberg takes a bow]
