Jay Leno made a very interesting joke Wednesday night.
On NBC's Tonight Show, the host said the stock market plunged earlier in the day because Mitt Romney pulled his money out (video follows with transcript and commentary):
JAY LENO: And this is a bad sign. This morning, the stock market plunged over 300 points. You know why? Romney pulled his money out. “Thank you. I'm out of here. Goodbye. Thank you. Goodbye everybody. I’m gone. Taking my money.”
The reality is that a lot of people pulled their money out of the market Wednesday.
This was the biggest post-Election Day plunge since 1948.
Makes you wonder if the smart money which includes people like Romney knows something about the direction of the economy in an Obama second term that most of the President's sycophantic supporters in and out of the media don't.
Stay tuned.
