Sniff! What a great tragedy! One of our great liberal warriors in the struggle against the Bad Orange Man has been sidelined.
CNN's Brian Stelter sounded like he was in a state of mourning over the sidelining of Jeffrey Toobin, not only from the New Yorker but also from CNN as you can read in his Tuesday article written with Oliver Darcy, "Jeffrey Toobin suspended from New Yorker, on leave from CNN, after he exposed himself on Zoom call."
Jeffrey Toobin, CNN's chief legal analyst and a renowned reporter for The New Yorker, has been sidelined at a pivotal moment in the run-up to the presidential election. The reason: He exposed himself during a Zoom call with colleagues in what he says was an accident.
Hmmm... Was that all he did to himself?
Toobin declined to comment to a CNN Business reporter, instead pointing to his statements to Vice, which indicated that the incident was an accident.
"I made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera," Toobin said. "I apologize to my wife, family, friends and co-workers."
"I believed I was not visible on Zoom," he added. "I thought no one on the Zoom call could see me. I thought I had muted the Zoom video."
Almost as embarrassing as Toobin's "accident" was the mocking abuse that Stelter brought upon himself by Tweeting this article.

Of course, Stelter's attitude of worrying about the loss of poor Toobin from election coverage rather than focusing on his behavior was like lobbing a softball in the Twitter park with many eager to bat Stelter of of the park in the form of mocking tweets.

Toobin has not "been sidelined" for "an accident". He has been suspended for subjecting his colleagues to sexual misconduct. He is not a victim. This is not something that has been done to him. https://t.co/X9msjxXUbb
