OK, this one really does serve as a perfect example of the MSM's covering for Hillary's shifty behavior. As I tell you this tale, imagine for yourself how the MSM would treat such a story if the same should have been perpetrated by a Republican candidate. It's the story of a fake "coincidence" at one of Hillary's Iowa appearances, one that was so painfully obvious by its complete manufacturing that it amazes any sane person that team Hillary was seriously trying to claim that the incident was a true occurrence and not a fake, manufactured campaign "happening."
It seems that Hillary was "coincidentally" asked by a "spontaneous" supporter if she were a Christian at her appearance in Donnellson, Iowa on the 23rd. This "coincidence" was right after our friendly Baptist Minister, Mike Huckabee, so famously rallied the religious folk to his side at the GOP Iowa caucus.
Amazing how the "religious" question so "coincidentally" came up, eh?
So, to this our intrepid Mz. Inevitability said that she was a "practicing Methodist" and went on to say, "I'm often asked if I'm a praying person, and I am a praying person. My father prayed at his bedside every night and we prayed at the table over dinner."
It'tnnat sweet?
But then something really "coincidental" occurred. Who but should have "coincidentally" been right there in attendance at Hillary's Iowa campaign stop where all these questions of religious issues came up but Hilalry's childhood Sunday-school teacher, Rosalie Bentzinger. Yes, she stopped by quite "coincidentally" on her way to church in Park Ridge, Illinois!
You DO know that Park Ridge, Illinois is just around the corner from Donnellson, Iowa, right? I mean it certainly could have been an accident that Mrs. Bentzinger was there entirely "coincidentally," don't you think?
Well, Hillary Clinton was shocked -- SHOCKED I tell you -- that her childhood teacher was there right when that whole religious thing was brought up. There were hugs and displays of the old photo that our old teacher friend "coincidentally" brought with her, photo bulbs popped... joy was had by all.
Hillary was so amazed with the photo of young Hillary in Church. Exclaiming, "She has a picture of my confirmation class -- March 27, 1959."
Naturally, team Hillary claims it was all a surprise to them. As the L.A. Times reports:
Clinton aides said they were unaware the Sunday-school teacher was in the crowd.
But, this one was even too much for the L.A.Times to believe. Their report reads with a satiric edge. But the doubt with which the L.A.Times printed this tale is no replacement for the faux outrage that they'd surely exhibit should this sort of obvious lie been perpetrated by a GOP candidate. And the Times is about the only MSM outlet that even bothered reporting the story at all.
Imagine the howls of "lies, lies, lies" that the MSM would indulge in if they'd caught a GOP candidate in such a manufactured campaign lie! Such a candidate would never hear the end of it.
But, as always, the MSM gives Hillary a pass on it.
