No dumb media hoax is complete until MSNBC’s resident bitter race arsonist jumps into the pile-on. Thus, Joy Reid has entered into the debunked and defamatory narrative suggesting that Elon Musk performed a Nazi salute during President Trump’s inaugural festivities.

President Joe Biden’s denunciations of an emerging “oligarchy” and “tech-industrial complex” appear to be, beyond a ham-handed attempt at an Eisenhower moment of his own, a clarion call to the media in the waning days of his presidency. If network news is to serve as a guide, it appears that the media have heeded the call.

Predictably, the prime time hosts at MSNBC oohed and aahed over President Joe Biden’s farewell address with a verve normally seen emanating from television production studios in Pyongyang. But in this case, they went above and beyond their customary cheerleading. They also worked hard to bolster the post-speech narrative of the perils of a Trump-adjacent oligarchy.

A carefully elaborated media smear campaign, combining the worst elements of the Bork and Kavanaugh confirmation processes, crashed and burned. Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth appears to have bolstered his confirmation chances, and the media were not thrilled to report that.

You can expect that the network newscasts will accord significant time to covering Special Counsel Jack Smith’s report on the January 6th prosecution of then-Former President Donald Trump. But that simply wasn’t the case when it came to covering the Special Counsel report on Hunter Biden.

The media furor against the nomination of Pete Hegseth to lead the Department of Defense seemingly died down for the holidays. But the malicious spotlighting of Hegseth has picked up ahead of his Senate confirmation hearing.

The horrific California wildfires have left many stories in their terrifying wake: some heartbreaking, some inspirational, with many more to be told as the fires continue to burn. In addition to reporting these, the media seem bent on telling another story: that of Governor Gavin Newsom as a competent state executive completely in control and proactively responding to the fires.

On CNN’s “Thunderdome”, more commonly known as NewsNight with Abby Phillip, the conversation over the response to California’s catastrophic wildfires inevitably led to Donald Trump. To be more precise: pre-imputing a bad response to a man who is still days away from taking power as President of the United States.

There are few certainties in life: death, taxes, and that MSNBC’s Joy Reid will gleefully spread whatever dumb leftwing hoax is currently making the internet rounds. The latest outrage over a botched handshake is but the most recent example.

The 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter, has shuffled off this mortal coil at the age of 100. Those who remain and are tasked with covering his passing have chosen to do so while putting a rosy glaze over his presidency. In doing so, they neglected history.

One of the ongoing subcycles of the past quadrennium was the Regime Media’s lack of interest in covering or even mentioning the obvious cognitive decline of President Joe Biden. With barely three weeks remaining in his term, whatever discussions about Biden’s decline come across as forced by the recent devastating Wall Street Journal article.

The Regime Media, with just weeks remaining in the Biden presidency, appear uncertain as to how to cover one of his big legacy items: the commutation of 37 out of 40 federal death row inmates. Evening news coverage ranged from treating it as an afterthought to making it all about Biden. 

Christmas may be upon us but politics rests for no one, as we see on CNN State of the Union. Host Dana Bash once again tries to push the tired “King Elon” narrative but CNN commentator Scott Jennings was there to quickly and expeditiously shut it down.

It appears that the Regime Media, which just a few months ago breathlessly covered every aspect of civil and criminal litigation against former and future President Donald J. Trump, now have little interest in updating the status of one of the pending trials.
