Friday morning on CNN’s New Day, co-anchors John Berman and Alisyn Camerota spent at least two segments attacking Republicans as high school children that weren't taking the Senate impeachment trial "seriously." The co-hosts even hyped how the Senators could be thrown “in the slammer” over their behavior.

After a peaceful Monday rally by Second Amendment activists in Richmond, Virginia, CNN and MSNBC deserved thoughts and prayers seeing as how their fear-mongering about “violence” a la Charlottesville by “thousands” of “heavily armed” “guns rights activists, white nationalists, militia groups swarming” the Capitol fizzed into puddles of lies.

CNN commentator Joe Lockhart spouted the conspiracy theory that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo possibly could have allowed "a Benghazi" against Marie Yovanovitch, who at the time was the U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine. 

Based on crowd size and man-in-the-street interviews, CNN reporter Fred Pleitgen, reporting from Tehran, claims that the killing of Qasem Soleimani has "unified" Iran.

CNN's John Berman calls the killing of Iranian General Qasem Soleimani "murder." Berman and co-host Poppy Harlow also not-so-subtly suggest that President Trump's ordering of the strike was a "wag the dog" move in the context of the impeachment proceedings and re-election campaign. 

Just imagine if this was said about a Democratic President, maybe Barack Obama or Bill Clinton:  Talking to Congressman James Clyburn on Thursday, New Day co-host John Berman had NO response when the Democrat said of a Senate impeachment trial for Donald Trump: “Let's give him a fair trial and hang him.” 

CNN's Jeffrety Toobin refuses to believe the results of CNN's own poll, showing a rather dramatic drop in Democrat support for impeachment: from 90% down to 77%. CNN New Day co-hosts Alisyn Camerota and John Berman scolded former Clinton press secretary Joe Lockhart for saying he'd heard "rumblings" that Democrats might be seeking a deal that, in return for the White House agreeing to testimony and the submission of documents, would result in a pause of the impeachment proceedings. 

"Mooch's Revenge" could be the working title for the series of interviews that CNN's Alisyn Camerota has conducted with Anthony Scaramucci. Ever since President Trump fired him as Communications Director after a tenure that was record-setting for its brevity, Scaramucci has been carrying out a one-man vendetta against his former boss.

In the aftermath of Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's announcement that the Donald Trump administration was essentially reversing the Barack Obama policy of declaring Israeli settlements as illegal, most of the dominant media have inaccurately claimed that Trump has reversed "decades" or "40 years" of U.S. policy on the matter.
