John Dickerson read the gushing tribute by filmmaker Ava DuVernay, hailing the “all-time great” King. DuVernay praised, “What most don’t understand about Gayle is that this perfected proximity to others is a superpower that the best journalists possess.”

CBS Rips ‘Cruel’ Trump Immigration Policy at Border

CBS on Monday night and Tuesday morning focused on the Trump administration’s zero tolerance separation policy, blasting it as “cruel” and an example of why journalists need to get beyond “policy” and focus on real world results. Strangely, CBS journalists often skip the equally heart-wrenching impacts of murders and drunk driving killings by those illegally in the United States.

Nets Run Wild With Dem Claims of Trump ‘Inciting Violence’

On Monday, all three network morning shows recited the same nasty accusations from Democrats that President Trump was “inciting violence” against left-wing Congresswoman Ilhan Omar simply by criticizing her offensive comments downplaying the September 11th attacks. Glossing over Omar’s incendiary rhetoric, hosts and correspondents feared for the liberal lawmaker’s safety.

No Controversy Here! CBS Yawns at 2020 Dem’s Extreme Views

Nothing controversial here. CBS This Morning co-hosts on Thursday breezily questioned 2020 presidential candidate Jay Inslee, offering little in the way of challenges to the Washington governor's plans to end the filibuster and the electoral college and to have Medicare for all. Instead, the journalists offered softballs with little skepticism.

In case it wasn’t clear before, CBS made it very obvious that the journalists are fans of Nancy Pelosi. The This Morning co-hosts on Friday previewed a 60 Minutes interview with the Democrat and gushed over the “feminine,” “steely tough” House Speaker.

ABC & CBS Ignore Omar’s 9/11 Comments, NBC Paints Her as Victim

After the media failed to notice controversial Democratic Congresswoman Ihan Omar making offensive public comments two weeks ago in which she downplayed the September 11th terrorist attacks as “some people did something,” NBC’s Today show finally discovered the story on Thursday. The ABC and CBS morning shows continued to ignore Omar’s latest scandal, while NBC tried to paint her as a victim.

Socialist Bernie Sanders, who has decried millionaires for years, is a millionaire That revelation was ignored by the flagship ABC and NBC morning shows, despite a combined four hours of air time on Wednesday. Only CBS This Morning noticed, offering a scant 49 seconds to the awkwardness of the very wealthy Sanders.

On CBS, Journalists Gush Over ‘Steady’ Pelosi: ‘The Adult in the Room’

CBS This Morning on Monday offered a gushing interview to fellow reporters from Politico about the players in Capitol Hill. While Donald Trump is in step of “chaos,” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is the “steady” hand and the “adult in the room. Politico correspondent Anna Palmer spun the President as having “reverence and respect” for the Congressional Democrat.

‘Good Riddance’: Nets Trash Nielsen’s ‘Tumultuous Tenure’ at DHS

On Monday, all three network morning shows reveled in Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen announcing her resignation with relieved reporting about her “tumultuous tenure” at the department being over and touting Democrats blasting the Trump cabinet official. Correspondents fretted over who would replace Nielsen as they bid her “good riddance.”

CBS Fears Hearing With Dem’s Accusers Would Be ‘Political Stunt’

Despite interviews earlier in the week with two women accusing Virginia’s Democratic Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax of sexual assault, on Thursday, CBS This Morning worried that holding a public hearing on allegations would “just be a political stunt” by state Republicans. The report also took time to tout Fairfax passing polygraph tests when asked about the claims.

CBS Hosts Lament ‘Sad Conversation’ Over Biden’s Behavior

After CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King complained on Wednesday about having to cover former Vice President Joe Biden’s questionable behavior toward women, she doubled down on Thursday, mourning the “sad conversation” taking place about the 2020 Democrat’s handsy tendencies. The CBS This Morning crew on Tuesday and Wednesday again expressed irritation about having to cover man accused of doing questionable things to a woman. This time it wasn’t their colleague Charlie Rose, but Democrat Joe Biden. Co-host Gayle King said she had seen a lot of “eye rolls” at the claims of unwanted touching by Biden. She weirdly added that the allegations “make my teeth hurt.”

It is possible to devote extensive coverage to a major Democratic scandal. CBS proved it over the last three days. Since Sunday morning, Gayle King on various programs interviewed the two women accusing Virginia’s Lieutenant Governor for over 33 minutes. In the same span of time, ABC and NBC offered no coverage to the claims of sexual abuse and rape against the politician.
