The networks on Monday framed Joe Biden’s response to charges of unwanted touching by women as “fighting back” now that “standards have changed” on what used to be considered his “harmless behavior.”  ABC, CBS and NBC all covered the accusations from Lucy Flores, but only CBS This Morning led with the story. 

On Friday, reporters for ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning were unable to conceal their disgust over President Trump taking a “profane victory lap” during a Thursday night rally in Michigan, following the results of the Mueller report. The coverage was dripping with contempt as the correspondents whined about the event, fearing “vengeance in the air” among Trump and his supporters.

Eager to find a new way to boost Democrats after Robert Mueller’s report did not find President Trump guilty of Russian collusion, on Wednesday, all three network morning shows celebrated the administration’s legal opposition to ObamaCare as a “winning issue” and “political gift” for liberal lawmakers.

Run, Stacey, run? That seemed to be the message from the hosts of CBS This Morning on Wednesday as the journalists talked to the failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate. The question of her running for president or vice president in 2020 was raised multiple times. The journalists at CBS This Morning are not, generally speaking, tough on Democrats, especially the 2020 presidential candidates. When they offer tough questions, it’s often from the left. That’s why it was so surprising on Tuesday to see the show’s co-hosts grill Kamala Harris about the costs of her policy proposals and even the concept of federalism. 

In an attempt by network journalists to console themselves and their liberal viewers over Special Counsel Robert Mueller clearing President Trump of Russian collusion, on Monday, the NBC, ABC, and CBS morning shows eagerly listed “scores” of other investigations Democrats were pursuing against the President, promising that Trump’s “legal problems continue.”

Who better than Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign manager to weigh in on the Mueller Report? That was the attitude on CBS This Morning, Monday, as the show’s hosts brought on John Podesta to make predictions in the wake of the release. Asking for advice, co-host John Dickerson wondered, “What do you think the next move should be for Democrats on the hill in terms of they want to see the rest of the…

During Friday’s 1:00 p.m. ET hour, MSNBC anchors Stephanie Ruhle and Ali Velshi were aghast at Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Andrew Wheeler dismissing climate change fearmongering in a recent interview with CBS News. The hosts denounced his comments and even brought on former Obama administration EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy to blast him.

CBS This Morning co-host Gayle King on Friday wondered if Americans should “take notes” from New Zealand’s gun control push. She pressed 2020 Democratic presidential candidate John Hickenlooper if taking away guns would be a “priority” for the liberal former Colorado governor. Guest co-host David Begnaud touted Hickenlooper’s hip appeal to millennials.  

All three networks spent Thursday morning gushing in favor of New Zealand’s new gun ban, touting that it had “widespread, bipartisan support” with “very little opposition.” ABC, NBC and CBS also spent time shaming the U.S. for not adopting a similar buyback measure.

Appearing on CBS This Morning on Monday to tout his new book on Sandra Day O’Connor, author Evan Thomas hailed the former Supreme Court justice as a “conservative Republican” because she voted in favor of abortion and affirmative action. Talking to co-host Norah O’Donnell, the former Newsweek editor hyped, “She preserved affirmative action and abortion for 25 years. On Monday, while both CBS This Morning and ABC’s Good Morning America managed to at least mention Beto O’Rourke receiving greater “scrutiny” and making “gaffes” over the weekend, NBC’s Today show skipped the Democratic presidential candidate’s unflattering stumbles in favor of gushing over his “eye-popping” fundraising numbers.

On Thursday and Friday, CBS This Morning and NBC’s Today show celebrated left-wing student activists around the world preparing to walk out of their classrooms to “demand action on climate change.” The CBS report took a particularly dark turn as correspondent Tony Dokoupil warned of “a future that might not even exist” for the young protesters.
