Late night talk shows are having a great year. The premiere of Comedy Central’s new series, The President Show, had over one million viewers. The late night talk show where actor Anthony Atamanuik stars as Trump is garnered the network’s biggest audience since Broad City, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

A new special promises to bridge the partisan divide on the national gun debate ... but so far it sounds like more of the same. Comedy Central routinely takes a pro-gun control position through its comedic programming. Consider The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and Inside Amy Schumer as Exhibits A & B. I oppose the push to remove "The Late Show" comedian Stephen Colbert from the air because of his obscene tirade against President Donald Trump. In fact, I wish the video of his boorish diatribe would go viral. The best remedy against the political left's ongoing crusade to remake America in its own vulgar image is maximum exposure of its irrationality.
