South Park creators Trey Stone and Matt Parker are known for their quick turnaround of new episodes, but airing a new episode on Wednesday night, less than 24 hours after the election results came in, was particularly impressive.

In Wednesday's episode of South Park before the election, "Fort Collins," the show seems to be facing the same electoral struggle the rest of the country is going through right now: Donald Trump is a Giant Douche, but Hillary Clinton is such a Turd Sandwich. 

Three of the late-night comedy programs went live to react to Wednesday’s final presidential debate and the assembled hosts and guests offered vulgar jokes comparing Donald Trump to a sex toy, phone sex operator, and man who needs breast feeding while dubbing Trump debate guest “Sarah Palin is the HPV of American politics.”

There South Park goes again, finding a line and going miles across it. Wednesday night’s episode was titled “Wieners Out” and, yes, that’s meant to be taken literally. How creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone got cartoon elementary school boys pulling down their pants and showing their wieners on TV past the censors, I will never know. 

Trevor Noah just rocked the boat. In less than five minutes, the Daily Show host defended both Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani, while simultaneously excoriating the media for misrepresentation and selective editing.   

The notion that the press offers “independent fact checkers” took another blow when Washington Post “Fact Checker” Glenn Kessler appeared on The Daily Show on Comedy Central shortly after the debate Monday night to make fun of Donald Trump as a checker-playing bozo, while fact-checking Hillary Clinton is “like playing chess with a real pro.”

South Park again parodied the presidential election between "Giant Douche and Turd Sandwich" in season 20’s third episode, “The Damned.” Two nights after the country’s first presidential debate, South Park had its own between Mr. Garrison and Hillary Clinton. The show mocked Hillary’s reliance on political advisors and scripted sound bites.

CBS This Morning co-host Charlie Rose on Thursday created a painfully awkward moment when he assumed that liberal Daily Show host Trevor Noah had been fired. Talking to comic John Oliver, formally of Comedy Central, Rose wondered if Oliver has “some sadness at what happened at Comedy Central?”
