On Thursday morning, CNN and MSNBC pounced on their latest opportunity to ignore police violence-related stories that do not fit the narrative that cops mostly target black suspects for shootings and excessive force. In fact, there were two significant stories highlighted by ABC, CBS, and NBC morning shows which stand out as being ignored by the two liberal cable news networks.

In the past week, several networks have repeated questionable claims that an eight-month-old Palestinian baby was killed by Israeli tear gas in the Gaza Strip. And MSNBC's Ayman Mohyeldin even went so far as to twice repeat a discredited story that a paraplegic in a wheel chair was killed by Israeli snipers without noting that the IDF already disputed the story in March.

On Friday, after its early morning anchors promised "details throughout the day here on CNN" regarding a federal agent being attacked in Chicago, CNN dropped all interest in the story after spending only 21 seconds on the tragic event. By contrast, FNC repeatedly updated viewers on the ATF agent who was shot in the face while trying to help local police fight against gang activity.

Over the past couple of days, as FNC and the broadcast networks have informed viewers of two separate attacks on police officers that have left two dead, MSNBC has completely ignored the tragic events while CNN has buried its coverage early in the morning.
