On Tuesday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, fill-in host Mark Steyn and The Hill’s Joe Concha enjoyed themselves at the expense of the latest liberal media diatribes, showcasing new cases of the incurably stupid Trump Derangement Syndrome involving everything from the death of Charles Manson to the attack on Republican Senator Rand Paul (Ky.).

At The New Yorker on Tuesday, Jeffrey Frank reached what one hopes is the worst we'll see of Trump Derangement Syndrome — but don't get your hopes up. Frank, in attempting to analyze what might have caused registered Democrat Rene Boucher to attack Senator Rand Paul two weeks ago, blamed "the sinister banality of American life ... with a lot of it these days emanating from Donald J. Trump."

On her MSNBC show on Thursday, host Andrea Mitchell sounded the alarm for her left-wing audience as she warned: “Well, President Trump, of course, is making headlines every day, every hour, but Vice President Mike Pence largely flying under the radar....Joining me now is staff writer of The New Yorker, Jane Mayer, who wrote the story, ‘The Danger of President Pence’...”

Just when it seemed that the scandal surrounding Harvey Weinstein couldn't get more sordid, current and former aides and advisors of Hillary Clinton have rushed to her defense after Anthony Bourdain, a famous chef and host of his own program on the Cable News Network, defended girlfriend Asia Argento, one of several women accusing the Hollywood mogul of sexual harassment, assault and even rape.

Amidst the NBC News controversy of declining to support contributor Ronan Farrow’s bombshell story on Harvey Weinstein, NBC’s Today co-host Matt Lauer praised Farrow on Wednesday for working on it at NBC but failing to disclose the network’s refusal to publish it (hence why it went to The New Yorker).

Variety and The Huffington Post are reporting that NBC News passed on Ronan Farrow’s investigation into Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein’s sexual exploitation of women.
