Lin-Manuel Miranda and Ben Platt have added a show tune to the soundtrack of the Parkland, Florida student’s gun-control campaign. It’s pretty ironic that the Hamilton star who brought a story of the American founding back into mainstream is so gung-ho about restricting 2nd Amendment rights.

A day after Wednesday’s nationwide school walkout for gun reform, the child-activists of Marjory Stoneman Douglas high school have released an official tribute song. The new song, titled “Shine” will be streaming from all major platforms, and has received praise and support from celebrities, notably Miley Cyrus.

In a repeat performance from last year, late night talk show host turned liberal political activist Jimmy Kimmel hosted The Oscars on March 4. Aired on ABC in prime time, the 90th Academy Awards show was so self-indulgent and stuffed with liberal propaganda, that it ran a full 50 minutes late.

If it’s not outright gun control then it’s not helpful. Clearly, Jason Chaffetz did not get the memo, when he encouraged survivors of the Parkland school shooting to find faith in “Jesus.” Luckily, Salon was on hand to condemn any sort of goodwill that didn’t include instituting government policy.  

An almost down-to-earth celebrity discussed the hypocrisy of celebrity opinions with the Daily Beast, and then went on to give his own hypocritical celebrity opinion.

Once again, Hollywood liberals are crying “Hate Speech!” in an effort to get Second Amendment supporters in the media to shut up.

March 24th will be the “March for Our Lives,” an ostensibly nationwide demonstration led by student survivors of the Mary Stoneman Douglas school shooting in order to demand new gun laws. Traumatized young people pushing (or being used to push) a progressive agenda is too good to ignore for some Hollywood liberals.

If you can’t convince Americans to give into gun control after mass shootings, the next best thing is to convince them that the NRA and Republicans are so extreme they won’t even ban bullets targeting police officers. Or so suggest The Young Turks.

Based in a city that’s the murder capital of the country with some of the strictest gun laws in the nation, it was only a matter of time before NBC’s new spin-off show Chicago Justice dealt with the issue of guns. Despite the facts eventually showing on Monday morning that the Somali-born Ohio State University (OSU) student who mauled fellow Buckeyes with his car and a butcher’s knife, Yahoo! News breaking news reporter Caitlin Dickson felt it was worthwhile to still flaunt the issue of control and how the early reports that the assailant had a gun “spur[red]” a “look” at Ohio’s gun laws. 

Actor Matt Damon thinks the United States should follow Australia’s example and have a mass confiscation of guns in order to rob Americans of their Second Amendment rights. It’s ironic that Damon made this claim while in Australia promoting the latest gun-toting action Jason Bourne movie (where he plays the lead role of an American spy).

In an excellent piece on Monday for The Federalist, Daily Signal senior news producer Kelsey Harkness thoroughly detailed her time at the 2016 Investigative Reporters and Editors Conference (IRE) that led her to conclude that “the problem” in the journalism profession today “goes far beyond agreeing on the facts” after seeing media bias in panels about guns and women’s health.  

Continuing to provide further proof that some on the left want to ban some or all guns in the wake of Orlando, the panel on Wednesday’s Nightly Show openly advocated for the banning of the AR-15, halting all gun manufacturing, and creating a government database to track how much ammo is owned by every American. 

As they’ve done so often with The New York Times and New York Daily News, the liberal media faithfully bowed in awe of another left-wing front-page editorial as Thursday’s Boston Globe demanded gun control in the aftermath of the Orlando terror attack. Both CBS This Morning and NBC’s Today graciously displayed the cover at the top of their programs while fawning over the Senate Democrats…
