Over the Memorial Day holiday, the Charleston, South Carolina home of Republican Congresswoman Nancy Mace was vandalized by leftist extremists who spray-painted their slogans, symbols, their demands, and vulgarities all over the property for her young children and neighbors to see. It was a terrible incident that got absolutely ZERO airtime on the morning and evening newscasts of ABC, CBS, and NBC for two days, and that’s despite an active police investigation.
In an interview with Fox News Channel anchor Sean Hannity Tuesday night, Representative Mace described coming home the damage as “a jarring day.” “This was invasive. This was my home and it was quite frankly scary,” she told Hannity.
“This is the home where I live. I'm a single mom and I have two kids and I'm sad for my kids because they had -- they had to see this. And I'm sad for my neighbors. They didn't ask for this to happen,” she lamented. “But this is a left coming after the right, coming after us conservatives. And earlier today, I'm conservative, first thing I did was talk to local law enforcement, got them to my house.”
Mace also called out deranged leftists who were claiming, without evidence, that she had vandalized her own home (click “expand”):

What do you think I did, Sean? The very first thing I did was file a police report.

The pretend fact-checkers at Snopes even tried to give credence to the conspiracy theories by not rating them false. “Because we can’t independently confirm or deny the Mace rumor, we are not yet issuing a rating for this rumor,” wrote Bethania Palma.
And just to prove how far away from reality Snopes was, CNN didn’t even mention the conspiracy theories in their online report. Instead, they noted that threats against lawmakers were on the rise. “US Capitol Police announced on May 7 that there has been a 107% increase in threats against members of Congress this year compared to 2020, with that number expected to increase,” reported Annie Grayer.
Further in the interview, Mace reminded viewers of the evil lengths some on the left would go through to harm Republicans. She recalled: “They shot Steve Scalise, Rand Paul was left in a hospital and has part of his lung missing now, and we're seeing the left burn, loot, and destroy our cities and our property.”
Adding: “This is not the first time that I've been attacked with vandalism. They -- they keyed my car last year when I was campaigning for Congress on the day of one of my debates. And now, they're on my front doorstep.”
She concluded by warning the person or persons who vandalized her home that she would not be intimidated. “I'm going to work harder and stronger and fight more for my convictions and my core values and my beliefs and protecting my kids and my country. They're all worth saving.”
