In case you didn’t realize just how excited liberal journalists were about James Comey’s testimony in front of Congress on Thursday, CBS This Morning reporters described it as “historic” or “history” six times. Of course, they even looked back at Watergate for a comparison.

While these sorts of interviews are unsurprising, they’re still worth documenting. Tuesday’s CBS This Morning featured a gooey interview with Democratic Senator Al Franken (Minn.) to promote his new book, encourage him to run for president, and swoon over “how hard you work” while still being “a complete delight.”  

The aggressively pro-abortion journalists at CBS have suddenly discovered a need to protect society’s “weakest members.” But it’s not a turn towards respecting the pro-life position. No, the hosts of CBS This Morning on Wednesday used this talking point as a way to decry Donald Trump’s proposed budget. 

All three networks on Monday excitedly promoted the anti-Trump potential of the testimony of a woman the President fired. CBS This Morning predicted that former acting Attorney General Sally Yates would deliver “explosive” “bombshells” about possible connections to Russia. The liberal media is still coming to grips with how Hillary Clinton could have possibly lost to Donald Trump. After all, she is the “smartest woman” in any room she enters. Or at least that’s what The Hill’s Amie Parnes told host Charlie Rose on his PBS show on Wednesday night.   

Monday’s CBS This Morning was broadcast live from the White House’s East Room and while there were plenty of fun, historical, and nonpartisan segments on various rooms inside the White House, the liberal bias didn’t receive a day off as the co-hosts pushed Trump advisor Gary Cohn from the left on the President’s tax plan. 

ABC and NBC on Thursday conveniently ignored the news that Barack Obama will be giving a $400,000 speech to Wall Street investors, the same people he decried as “fat cat bankers” in 2009. Only CBS This Morning covered the New York Times revelation — and only in an 18 second brief that avoided hypocrisy concerns. 

In a series of contentious interviews on Thursday’s network morning shows, Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin was forced to debate with anchors about whether President Trump’s tax plan was just “tax cuts for the rich” and even asked to swear an oath that the reform proposal would be revenue neutral.

On Tuesday, the broadcast networks were delighted that President Trump decided to temporarily hold off on border wall funding in order to help reach a budget deal in Congress. Rather than credit Trump for making a reasonable compromise to avoid a government shutdown, the NBC, ABC, and CBS morning shows eagerly spun the news as a defeat for the White House.

The journalists on CBS This Morning, Monday, goaded John Kasich to attack Donald Trump, lauding the moderate Republican governor. Democratic donor Gayle King, who vacations with Barack Obama, lobbed this softball: “You believe that historians will scratch their heads and look at this election as a tipping point. What will they see?”

When it comes to the Clintons, the hosts of CBS This Morning are indistinguishable from gushing celebrity “journalists” at Access Hollywood. They are devotees. On Tuesday, the most pressing question for these partisan fan boys (and fan girls) is whether Chelsea Clinton or her mom will run for office in the future.
