Associate editor Nick Fondacaro and I reunited for Wednesday’s show to break down the NewsBusters team's new time counts of network coverage (or lack thereof) on the Trump indictment and allegations of impropriety from the Biden family.
As our Geoff Dickens reported on Tuesday, the broadcast network coverage of the Trump indictment stood at 510 minutes, but only five minutes and three seconds on the Biden WhatsApp scandal (which grew to five minutes and 53 seconds with NBC coverage Wednesday night after we taped).
We also took note of how ABC, CBS, and NBC have covered the IRS whistleblower revealing himself and sitting down for interviews with Fox News and CBS to describe in his own words what he alleged took place during the Hunter Biden probe.
While the Biden numbers surprisingly aren't zero, the Trump numbers still dwarf them like a skyscraper-sized tsunami.
We also took some time to mock White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for skipping out on ABC’s The View for the lamest reason possible and gave an update to network coverage of white powder being sent to Republicans across the country.
